Ingredients: 500 gr chickpea meal, 1 glass extravirgin olive oil, salt, freshly ground black pepper.

Typical of the seaside area, this recipe is wellknow allover the world. Quite easy and very quick, here it's: steep the chickpea meal in 2 litres of water then stir with a wooden spoon. Add the oil and a pinch of salt, then pour the mixture into a wide oven tray with low sides. Bear in mind that the cecina should not be over 5 mm thick. If you do not have a wide oven tray, use 2 small trays. Cook in a hot oven until a golden crust has formed. Cut into pices and dust with freshly grounf black pepper.
