Into this tiny nibble, you'll embrace Italy from South to North, from Sicily figs jam, to Tuscany salame and balsamic vinegar from Modena!
I think it's the perfect way to celebrate Italy football match of yesterday night! :-)
So, here you are the explanation of this precious nibble: salame is the Tuscan version, the seasoned one, made by one of my firneds Sue, from Salumificio Mannori.
In this period of the year it's early for figs, expecially those produced in Italy, so I considered to combine salame with black figs jam: the one I used is from Sicily, from Scyavuru, a small factory that produces fruits and jams and that is wellknown for their wonderful perfume! In fact their name, comes from the meaning of 'flavour and perfume'!
Tha crispy toch is given by an almond, with no peel, and the bitter and sour by just two drops of balsamic vinegar from Modena.
That's it! 3 Italian regions into a very small fingerfood! :-)
